A toll free number was once only accessible to large corporations with disposable income. Now, even small, one person operated business can easily afford and offer a toll free number to their clients thanks to the launch of Get800today.com

Bay Area, CA (PRWEB) November 26, 2007 -- Having a toll free number is suddenly more affordable than people might think. Get800today.com site launch on November 26th gives small business owners and individuals an affordable solution to offering a toll free phone number, and explains the business benefits to having a toll free line.

With Get 800 Today, anyone from a business owner to a non-profit executive to the family with the home phone, can choose from an 800, 866, 877, or 888 telephone number. Small business organizations form partnership

Two nonprofits aimed at helping small and minority-owned businesses succeed have formed an alliance to share services.

The Cincinnati Business Incubator and the Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative said they have formalized their relationship with a memorandum of understanding.

Under the agreement, CBI will offer GCMI clients a complimentary six-month affiliate client contract, and GCMI will provide CBI clients with customized business coaching and assistance in obtaining business loans.

"When organizations like ours work together there is less duplication and we have more opportunity to market our services to a wider audience," said Wayne Hicks, president of CBI, in a news release.

CBI, in Over-the-Rhine, is an incubator offering startup companies affordable office space, business services and other resources.

Ten Penny-Pinching Ideas for 2008

The year is drawing to a close and I can happily say that I've learned a few things in 2007. I've learned how safe the world is because Microsoft (NasdaqGS:MSFT - News) does not build airplanes. I've learned that if I'm ever asked to open the MTV Music Awards, I shouldn't show off my belly. And I'm also relieved to report that not only am I smarter than a fifth grader, I'm probably smarter than the 10 billion people watching that show. .

ABC to replace cancer cluster broadcast studio

NEW Brisbane premises have been secured for the ABC to establish broadcast operations following the closure last year of its facilities at Toowong amid concerns over a cancer cluster among staff at the site.

The Toowong studios were closed after a panel of experts commissioned by the ABC found that women working there had a six times higher risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer than women in the general community.

Since then, another journalist, Angela Eckersley, has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is under treatment and recovering, bringing to 15 the number of staff stricken by cancer since 1994.

Years of action by the journalists' union pressured ABC management into closing the Toowong riverside premises because exhaustive tests could not pinpoint the reason for so many female staff developing cancer.
